Can't recommend this trip enough! Great experience learning about marine conservation and the Great Barrier Reef's biodiverse yet complex nature. Have since become an open water / adventure diver - something I've always wanted to do and had the opportunity to share these experiences with some great people from all around the world. The trip was well organised, good transport and accommodation and the breakfast provided were sufficient. Learning to dive with ProDive Cairns was a breeze and working with Master Reef Guide Russell and the crew on Passions of Paradise was an absolute pleasure. They really know how to make a good day out! The reef did not disappoint as we saw an abundance of sharks, stingrays, turtles, fish, and live coral. Love the fact this program makes you feel you have a sense and purpose to dive whilst collecting valuable information that will help with marine conservation. Thanks Konrad for putting together an awesome program and I'd have no hesitation in booking through No Limit Adventures again!
I was apart of the "Marine Conservation Program: Eye on the Reef" in October 2018 and it was an unforgettable experience! I never dreamed I could become certified in scuba diving and meet such amazing people who had the same interests! It's a wonderful environment being around people who are passionate about scuba diving and marine conservation. I enjoyed working with Pro Dive, Passions, No Limit Adventures, and the Turtle Rehabilitation Center during my time in Cairns. It was remarkable to learn all the fascinating things happening in marine conservation and to be apart of it — from learning about the diverse sea life, to surveying the reefs, and cleaning/feeding sea turtles in rehab! I definitely recommend this program to anyone who is passionate about conservation, or you just want to broaden your perspectives. And last but not least, Konrad is an awesome dude — he made us feel welcomed and made sure everything was prepared for us. By the end of the program, we were a family. I truly was honored and glad to meet everyone through this unforgettable journey. So don't be afraid to take chances as there are no limits to your adventures with "No Limit Adventures." 😉
Can’t thank Konrad and russel enough for making my experience everything and more than I expected. I cant recommend No Limit enough. I was a solo traveler and these guys made me feel apart of a family when I was in cairns. I honestly had the most amazing time! The people I met through this program I’ll treasure for ever The program itself was amazing, I learnt so much and will definitely be back If you are looking at helping out the Great Barrier Reef dont hesitate to go through No Limit adventures Brittany, 19
Me and my partner participated on No Limit Adventures Eye on the Reef- marine conservation program in October 2017. We were impressed by the vessel we were onboard; the Passion of Paradise, its crew and Konrad's involvement in the program. Konrad was there to welcome us, to dive with us in our first conservation dive and to finish off the program with a beer and a lovely brekkie the next morning. He took very good care of the group and is a super nice guy. The program started with the best lecture we've been to, the Reef Teach by Gareth. The next days we did 8 dives on the GBR. On our dives we filled in different kinds of surveys with the goal of collecting data about the reef's condition. On the last day we visited Fitzroy Island and the Turtle Rehabilitation centre. We had pretty bad luck with the ferry breaking down and us being late for almost two hours. Luckily we still got to work with the turtles a bit and enjoy the beautiful island. Our ecoguide Russel was a great guy with lots of knowledge of the reef. We would have loved to dive with him but unfortunately he was ill. Hence we would have needed a bit more guidance with filling in the surveys and identifying the species on our dives. The dive master filling in for him, Corinda, was amazing though. All-in-all we loved the program, learned so much about the reef and its future and met amazing people. We would have given the program 5 stars if the hostel would have been better. Nomads Cairns hostel was pretty bad, with dirty rooms and bad food at the restaurant.
I recently spent five days with No Limit Adventures taking part in their Marine Conservation program in Cairns, which involved two dives a day for four days with a marine biologist to monitor the reef. Everything was extremely enjoyable and well-organised, with Konrad and his team making a huge effort to maximise our experience. It would have been nicer to have gone to more dive sites but that was down to the weather and not the company. I would consider doing another project with them in the future.
I recently took part in No Limit Adventures' Marine Conservation program. During the program I went diving at some amazing reef sites and took part in underwater surveys under the guidance of a professional Eco-guide. The underwater surveys allowed me to learn a great deal about the reef, marine life and ways to help preserve the Great Barrier Reef. It was an amazing experience that I will never forget.
