Quietly tucked away on the corner of idyllically tree-lined Moray Street in the heart of New Farm, Vine Restaurant opened its doors in 2005. Mark Rotolone and mother-in-law Mimma Diana have since realised their vision of Vine being one of Brisbane’s most versatile dining spaces. With a warm but modern decor, the restaurant provides an ambience of sophistication that is inviting, making it an ideal setting for breakfast, lunch, dinner or any special occasion.
The restaurant is run by brothers, Mark and Daniel Rotolone and features a team dedicated to customer service and to the delivery of simple Italian fare with a modern edge. Incorporating fresh, local produce and only the highest quality imported goods, Vine has proven itself to be amongst the forefront of Brisbane’s restaurant scene.
Vine Restaurant has interesting facts - Why are Pubs called Hotels in Australia? A pub, short for Public House, is an establishment whose main function is to serve alcohol, mostly beer. Also known as an Ale house or Tavern. The reason for this is that until recently, in Australia (late 1980s), pubs were forced, by the liquor laws, to provide accommodation and so were accurately called hotels.
