Due to notorious numbers of reservations and popularity, the owner has opened it's second store to cope with high demands from locals and food lovers all over Sydney since last december 2010.

My main complaint is the portion size and how overpriced the dishes were. We ordered 2 entrees, 2 mains, 2 side dishes thinking it should have been plenty of food. What a surprise when the 2 entrees and 1 main arrived and they all looked like tapas. Even combining all the 6 dishes we ordered we couldn't complete a whole meal. The waiter's English was quite basic, so I asked the Manager if this was 'the main or the entree size' for this particular dish, and she couldn't understand the question either, just kept saying 'is the same' and smiling. I honestly thought this should be a mistake how can they charge $25 dollars for some 'symbolic slices of meat' garnished with a lemon wedge and salt, to my surprise this was, in fact, the main size. This place is more expensive than Kobe Jones, but looks and feels like an ordinary corner sushi place. The ambience leaves a lot to be desired, the place is a bit run down, no proper lighting and the music is just Japanese radio. On top of all this, they apply an extra surcharge on all card transactions including debit card! Not recommended
I dined in with sashimi salmon, deep fried chicken and California roll. No comment on other dishes. But for what I had: Disappointed quality on the sashimi freshness given many good reviews on Google. 3 star quality but 4.5 star price. Not recommended at all.
