Really surprised by this place. Didn't even know it existed. Huge inside, not that busy. Staff were good but still took a while to get served, drinks etc. Food was delicious, really nice salads and sauces with the meats - had chicken and lamb rack. Good serving sizes and not expensive. Will be back.
Friendly service and interesting space. Slow kitchen on a Tuesday night. Our bottle was almost gone by the time the mains came out. Apparently, the kitchen was not happy with one of the dishes, but the O’Connor Hanger Steak was tough when it arrived. Other food was nice enough, but didn’t quite seem to on par with the ambitions of the establishment (and my expectations aside from the beef tartare, which was great).
I cannot stress enough how amazing this place is. Walked into a nice environment with the most attentive and friendly staff. Food was excellent. In particular, steak was cooked perfectly - every bite just melts in your mouth. Service was quick and super neat. Highly recommend for a dinner and drinks!! Will definitely be back.
Great set up. We had the rib eye to share and the taste was delicious charcoal that goes so well with red meat done well. Their take on the wine list is quite unique and very interesting. Would recommend. Dont forget to study the taxidermy along the wall
Deeeeelicious! The food's truly amazing here. Especially the vegetarian gnocchi. There were seven of us for dinner and the food and customer service was exceptional. The waiters were attentive and anticipated our needs. Chefs Morgan and Trish truly know how to dish up mouth watering food! They're so talented. It's the new hip and happening restaurant in Melbourne and I can see why.
