Atmosphere was good, handy been for food in a while and probably wouldn't go back for food in a while. Had the burger and chips, must of been a good price on tomato sauce as a whole bottle was used. Beef must be expensive because there were 2 half patties in the burger
Loving the new look and vibe of The Fiddler! The decor and greenery is just beautiful! However, we were left quite disappointed with the food. We knew not to expect more than just traditional pub food, but we were served cold pizza! The drinks were great. A little bit of TLC with their food, and this place will be even more amazing.
Average food and drink. The place is very well decorated. Though twice now we have booked a table and when we arrive have been stuffed on the top level of the church. Frustrating because it's really muggy, dirty, poorly lit and decorated and we were far from the atmosphere and music that we'd gone for. Disappointing that that space would even be an option for them to put customers. Though now they're not even taking bookings, unless you want to pay for them to reserve you seating. Absolutely ridiculous! A non refundable fee of $10 a seat. It seems Fiddler had some issues in how they booked tables and so have decided to just put that in the too hard basket. We were advised for 30 people to pay up or just turn up and hope we find seats, for 30 people?! Booking elsewhere for the two events I have in May.
I’ve been to The Fiddler twice, but didn’t realize it until I was leaving the second time. The first time was for a friend’s birthday party, the second time was, sadly, for a wake. Both times the staff and facilities were excellent. If I lived nearby I’d likely visit more often. On a side note, The Fiddler is HUGE! I got lost leaving on my second visit which is when I stumbled across the place my friend’s birthday was hosted a few years before. Impressive facilities with areas that I feel can accommodate almost anyone.
