Silks on Grenfell Hotel is located in the heart of the Adelaide CBD in the heritage listed Tattersalls Building. Formerly the Tattersalls Club, which was established in 1879, the “Tatts Club” was one of Adelaide’s oldest clubs for “gentlemen” only, originally exclusively for those associated with horse racing. Today, the Silks on Grenfell Hotel is a fully licensed Hotel open to the general public. At ground floor level is the Silks Bar and Gaming Room, with easy access directly from Grenfell street. Offering the best value quality weekday counter lunches along with the poker machines, there are full TAB/KENO facilities with TV monitors to see all the action.

On the first floor is the main Function Room, featuring its famous long timber bar with leather chesterfields and its high ornate ceilings and balcony overlooking Grenfell Street. Our private Function Room has a seating capacity of 100 and 130 for cocktail parties and is available for private or corporate functions and seminars.
